We charge a small admission fee to help support our mission of preserving and sharing local history. Regular admission is paid on site upon arrival; tickets are not sold online.
Admission is:
- Adults: $10
- Seniors (65+): $8
- Visitors 18 and under: Free
- Members: Free
CARTE HOP!
The Richmond County Historical Society Museum is a proud participant in the Carte HOP!, a cultural pass offered by the Chemin des Cantons.
Located in the heart of Richmond County, our museum is part of a vibrant local network of heritage sites, including the Musée de l’ardoise de Richmond and the nearby Moulin à laine d’Ulverton—making the Carte HOP! an easy and affordable way to plan a cultural outing in the region.
With a single purchase, the Carte HOP! gives access to six participating museums and is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. It’s an easy and affordable way to explore the region’s history and heritage.
Visitors presenting a valid Carte HOP! receive admission as part of the program.
Museum Season & Year-Round Visits
Our regular museum season runs from mid-June to late August each year, aligning with our summer exhibit schedule. However, scheduled visits are possible throughout the year—just email us at info@rchs-shcr.ca to arrange a time.
Group Visits (YEAR-ROUND!)
We welcome group visits to the museum year round—even outside of our regular museum season.
Group visit details:

Groups must include 6 people or more

Outside of our regular museum season, we require 7 days’ notice to prepare your visit

Groups of 10 or more receive a 20% discount on entrance fees

Groups of 25 or more must be discussed with us in advance; pricing will be confirmed once details are finalized

Museum Season
Our regular museum season runs from mid‑June to late August every year, aligning with our annual summer exhibition.
Summer 2026: June 20 to August 23, 2026
During the museum season:
Wednesday – Sunday: 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Monday & Tuesday: Closed
Outside the Museum Season
Visits are possible year‑round by appointment.
